About Nickie

After spending ten years in the classroom as an elementary intervention specialist and behavior specialist, Nickie earned her Ph.D. in Urban Education Studies at Indiana University-Indianapolis. Her research focuses on relational approaches in teaching to support both students and teachers.

We center inclusive, research-informed practices that center equity, honor diversity, and respond to the lived realities of today’s classrooms.
